Federal government’s delegation visits Tigray amid killing, blocked essential services and aid

An Ethiopian Federal Government delegation led by the spokesperson of the house of representatives went to Mekelle, Tigray, today for the first time after two years of genocidal war waged against the people of Tigray by the regime that massacres nearly one million people of Tigray. It’s said that the visit aims to oversee the implementation of the peace deal signed in November in Pretoria.

The regime’s representatives are visiting Mekelle while the Eritrean soldiers and Amhara militants are cruelly killing innocent Tigrayans and looting and destroying properties in the places they occupy.

Essential services such as telecommunications, banks, electricity, transportation, etc., are not opened in most parts of Tigray, and humanitarian aid delivery is still facing intentional disruption by the federal government and its allies.
